About Our Troop
WHO WE ARE
We are a chartered Scouting USA troop based out of Christ the Shepard Lutheran Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Our mission is to support youth (from rising 6th grader to 18 years) in their character development through the Scout Oath and Law including an outdoor program to inspire this development. The goal is to develop the next generation of Servant Leaders.
WHAT WE DO
Troop 1857 meets on Monday nights from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Both the boys and girls meet at the same time but have separate units. Weekly meetings are designed around scout skills including but not limited to tying knots, first aid, cooking, and camping.
